This was the very first strain selected for wine or cider application, and is now the Most Famous! Manufactured by Fermentis and packaged specifically with our hard cider. The yeast (SC-22) has unsurpassed variety of character, the widest of temperature ranges, and creates a favorable and clearer finished cider. The SC-22 can produce alcohol content upward of 15% ABV.
